The course of the procedure

This procedure is not particularly painful. However, at the patient’s request, the doctor may apply an anesthetic cream. The effect of face volumetry is visible almost immediately and lasts from 9 to 18 months. The duration of the procedure varies depending on the patient’s individual predispositions, but a single session usually lasts no longer than 30 minutes.

Face volumetry effect

Volumetry reverses the signs of skin aging resulting from the gradual loss of hyaluronic acid, allows you to give the face the desired shape and reduce possible asymmetries. Thanks to the hygroscopic properties of hyaluronic acid, the face also gains adequate hydration – all in a minimally invasive way, without surgical intervention. The effects are visible immediately after the procedure, but you should wait about 2 weeks for the full result – this is how long it takes for hyaluronic acid to integrate with the tissue.

Recommendations after facial volumetry

Volumetric treatments rarely cause side effects, but they can occur. After volumetry, swelling and redness of the face may persist for several days. Sometimes small bruises are also visible in the puncture areas. During this time, the patient should not use the swimming pool, sauna, solarium, expose their face to the sun or perform heavy physical work. Apart from these minor limitations, volumetry does not involve any convalescence. Immediately after the procedure, the patient can return to their daily activities.
