Recommendations before the procedure
Before the operation, it is necessary to perform the appropriate tests. It is also important to refrain from smoking at least a month before the surgery, as well as from taking anticoagulant drugs. On the day of surgery, you should be fasting – no food or drink is allowed.
Recommendations after the procedure
The stay in the clinic after the operation usually lasts one day. Immediately after the procedure is performed, swelling may appear, which should subside in about 2 weeks. Some patients complain of pain (chest distension) immediately after the operation. This is perfectly natural, as the tissues under which the implant is inserted need time to stretch. Painkillers prescribed by the doctor may be used to relieve the pain. Some patients may also experience a sensation of overflow within the breasts, numbness and reduced nipple sensation, which will subside with time. After the procedure, the patient should wear a special bra to help both the recovery and final shaping of the appearance of the breasts.
